And ironically I remember a Miami Dolphin fan telling me that Welker wasn't anything special when he went to New England (of course we both were in Maine, so he had to talk big). lol
Still have no idea why hes this good

you made this statement without looking at his career stats didn't you? in SD and MIA he wasn't anything special stats wise. come on in MIA he had a 29 rec year and a 67 rec year, solid but nothing special. it's been primarily his work in NE that has made him a top 5 WR today. With 441 career recs at age 28 i think it will be a challenge for him to amass the numbers needed for the hall unless he is able to stave off injury, the slow down most NFL guys have around age 30. yes there are examples of wr remaining good well into their thirties like rice, to, or chris carter but those guys are rare.
Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are .

Ah, I miss Paul Skansi
On third down he always ran the same route. Go downfield far enough for a first down and head toward either the MLB or the hard hitting safety. Ball will be thrown high, so he will have to jump and just as he is catching it, it will look like a Mack truck is running him over, but he will make the catch.
Slightly leaning toward the second one
I mean, he's only 5'9, and he's not that fast. I'll say he's like the scrappy football player, but he's too good.
I don't watch Welker a lot, so I don't know if he's a good blocker like Hines, but it's a mystery to me how someone of his size can be so good.

It's because shockingly, route running is probably the #1 attribute a receiver can have. Size and being a gigantic physical specimen is helpful (T.O. and Moss) but Jerry Rice wasn't exactly a big guy. He was an exceptionall route runner.
Ask any receivers coach what he wants most out of his receivers: route running.

Sorry to bump the old thread, but figured it didn't merit a whole, new, separate thread.
So, is he done for the season?
Yikes!
So, I guess the obvious question (especially in the wake of all the flack Indy's been taking all week) is: should he have even been playing?
Personally, I have no problem with him playing, especially that early in the game. Just another bad break, methinks.

Enjoy!
I'm watching the Packers, and wondering myself why is Rodgers and company in the games still? Woodson just got hurt(Doesn't look serious) and Rodgers took a huge hit earlier. Arizona took their starters out after the 1st series. The teams meet again next week. What is McCarthy trying to prove? Even if we beat the arizona backups 100-0, so what? Next week is what matters.
Great fan sign of the day: Water covers3/4 of the earth. Woodson covers the rest.....
Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration.
