and what about the 04 Cardinals that won 105, just because they got swept in the series by a retarded hot Red Sox....they seem to only care about teams that won the world series....just because you didn't win the world series, doesn't' necessarily mean you weren't the best team that year. I mean the 06 Mets were a great team, why aren't they anywhere on here? The Cardinals were unbeatable in the middle of the decade, the 01 Yankees were possibly better than the Diamonbacks

The 2006 Cards won 83 games. There is no way they are in the "Team of the Decade" discussion, so long as the discussion is meant to identify the all-around best teams of the decade. You say their list is placing too much emphasis on winning the World Series (I pretty much agree on that), but the only way the 06 Cardinals are in the discussion is place an absurd amount of emphasis on winning the WS.
