How do you think about ROK (Republic of Korea) Pro Baseaball league?

Me and my friends were arguing about the foreign players in S. Korea.

(I'm from South Korea. Not NORTH! DON'T GET CONFUSED! We ALMOST won the 2nd WBC!)

They gets about 0.3 mil(Maximum for foreigner) / year. Single contact, 2 players / team. (There are 8 teams, single league)

1. How much do you know about the Korean league? Do you know any Korean player (not Shin-soo Choo, BK, Chan-ho Park like MLB experienced ones)?

2. What if you are Minor league player. Would you want to play at Korea?

P.S. I'm enjoing the BM with Korean league patch. But I think I can use some foreign players. Is there possiblity that adding Korean names mainly for new players for amature draft?

I went to the WBC qualifying round in Stockholm this year and made a thread about it. But I don't know much about Korean baseball. Wish I knew more.

I chatted with Yoon Ji-Woong a little bit, and he seemed like a cool guy.

If I were a minor league player I'd definitely go play in Korea. An ex-girlfriend of mine spent a year teaching in Korea and loved it.

I know that there is a young Red Sox prospect named Che-Hsuan Lin who plays outfield that I believe was a backup for the Korean national team and played even in the Olympics a couple of years ago. He won the MVP award in the "Futures Game" a couple of years ago.

I don't know much about baseball in Korea. Most of what I do know comes from what I've seen in the WBC.

If I were a minor leaguer, I personally wouldn't want to play in Korea. I don't really want to live anywhere that English isn't the primary language, because I seem to have a very poor appitude for learning foreign languages, possilbly because of my poor hearing. Heck, I have too much trouble understanding what people are saying a lot of the time when they're speaking English.
