Who is Chris Brown?

Hi everyone,

So after starting out in 1970 I have now reached 1973. I noticed that the Dolphins have sat down Bob Greise (oh the shame of it all!) and replaced him with a fellow named Chris Brown, whom they drafted in the 1972 draft.

According to the game he went to Colorado State, but I have never heard of this guy and can´t find him anywhere. He has a nice peak of 84 and is currently second in the AFC in touchdown passes. Anyone know him? Are there others out there that don´t exist in real life?

Must be a bug. According to Football reference their have been 4 Chris Browns, only 1 is a RB and none played during those years. Strange..

I didn t know if it was a bug or a feature. I haven´t come across anyone else like that though, so maybe it is an easter egg. I would rather have Griese in there though, so maybe Mr Brown is not long in my universe.

Maybe it is a feature. I know BM does generate fictional players even in historical drafts, although the ones I've seen weren't very good. So maybe FM does the same and you found a good one.

There arent always enough historic players to fill out the draft so the datebase makes up players to fill it out. Usually they are bottom rung players but every so often one very good player is created.
