    Nick Johnson to Yanks

This is a head scratcher. After letting Matsui go because he could only DH, they brought in another Lefty who will most likely only play DH for the same price. Problem is, Nick Johnson (albeit talented), gets hurt when someone coughs. Bad pickup.

Nick Johnson will become the player the Yanks always hoped he would be, slamming all those homeruns in that little league field they have. It may be good for them if he stays healthy. It may be too much to ask for though.
Ready for Offseason rumors and trade talk!

    Just for fun BBM10 roster:

    Yup

I have a friend who never gave up on him. He is talking about this like the second coming. Way I see it is if I could get paid 5.1 M for showing up for work 30 days of the year....

Pretty sure Hideki Matsui is a pretty significant health risk too...and he CAN'T play in the field....

I disagree that he is a bad pickup.

Very high OBP and OPS hitter. Great DH

There's the rub....Matsui was a DH and was worthless in the field....at least Johnson can do something besides hit!
