Yeah, Hudson was definetly ignored, players like Carp had a couple of great years, but being the best overall for the last 10 years?

I think their list is pretty solid....and I don't know if Hudson or Pettitte should really be in the top 10

Mussina, Maddux and Pettitte aren't very different over the decade - but Hudson was better than all of them. Buehrle and Schilling have interesting cases.

Spreadsheet with Pitching Leaders in VORP, ERA+, FIP, and WAR for 2000 - 2009. I took pitchers with a minimum of 200 GS, 1400 IP, and a 110 ERA+ for the decade. There were 24 of them in all. Interestingly enough these rocket scientists have Pettitte 5th, Halladay 6th, and Oswalt 7th. Hrrrm, let's see:

NAME; VORP; ERA+; FIP; WAR

Pettitte; 15th; 19th; 11th; 15th

Halladay; 2nd; 6th; 4th; 1st

Oswalt; 5th; 4th; 5th; 4th

and just for fun, Hudson and Mussina who suck so bad that they're not worthy of mention?

Congratulations Andy! You managed to beat out one of these bums in one category. Look I'm not knocking his character. He seems like a decent guy. But 5th best pitcher in the '00's? Wow...Just wow. I think whoever did this list must have been in Jeffy's parallel universe...where you burp out your farthole and fart out your burphole. Either that or they have a real difficult time moving their eyes past the W column. Ugh.
