It's more human nature than anything else.

Interesting double-standard you have going there.
My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.

Thumbs up Someone finally mentioned the kids

But its more than just a wife: Tiger has two kids. When you have kids, your #1 priority in your life is not your career or yourself or anything, but raising your children in way that will give them the best possible life. Doing this is a complete lack of respect for his family and is pretty disgusting. Thats not "Puritan Values" as some posters have declared: thats common decency for a life that YOU brought into the world and YOU are responsible for as a parent.
    ^ ^ ^

Ding, ding, ding, ding, ding. Winner, winner, chicken dinner. I can't believe it took until the 36th post of the thread to mention the little tykes involved in this situation. They're the ones who'll get hurt the most because they can't understand yet why the f**k Mommy is chasing Daddy down the driveway with a three iron (despite former employer Jesper Parnevik's input that she should've gone with one of his drivers). They've got to be pretty shaken up right now and I'm not sure the situation is fixable.

Not to excuse or condone Tiger's conduct, but the man's a prodigy. Since the age of 2(?) his life has been golf, golf, golf, golf, golf etc. He's way overly developed in that area, but that is bound to take away from maturity in other areas of his life, such as relationships. Basically, the way I see it, in this area of his life he's still a teenager with a bazillion dollars who travels the globe and has massive celebrity status. That is a dangerous cocktail right there. I'm not saying it was inevitable that this would happen and that these women preyed on him. Was he an easy mark? Uh...yeah.

The other thing about him is that to get to where he is required an unfathomable amount of drive. Often times this drive comes with certain, well let's call them "side effects" *cough Cigar anyone? cough, cough*, as we've been reminded time and again by people in positions of power. Tiger Woods wields a tremendous amount of power, and you know what they say about absolute power and how it corrupts absolutely. His indefinite leave of absence could bring the PGA to its knees, but he should absolutely take as long as he needs because family is everything and right now his family needs him to move from teenager to man in a New York minute.

Has anyone seen John Daly lately? He slimmed down a ton. I want to see him make a big comeback, haha.

He also ripped into the players who slammed their "meal ticket". I've always had a soft spot for the guy and if anyone can relate to being embattled with problems that were arguably brought on by themselves, it would be the big...uh, formerly big fella.

Haha I heard he even tried to call Tiger up, but has gotten no response back yet. I think before Tiger, people really wanted to see him succeed. I know I always enjoyed him on the tour, haha.

I really needed a second Tiger thread, so we can delve deeper into his personal life. Thank goodness.
