I guess Dick wanted some change that would suit his online league and since it hasn't been yet implemented he figured ranting about 'trivial requests' (Of which I'm pretty sure most of his examples weren't even requested) would get him some attention. Looks like it actually worked.

It's nice that we can edit the length of a playoff series in BM2011, but many are looking for the ability to add a 4th division and be able to customize the # of playoff teams from 2 to 16. I remember an online team expanded to 32 teams. With 32 teams it would be awesome to have 4 divisions in each league and 4 teams in every division.
It would probably too much to allow 32 teams in a playoff, but 1,2,4,8 and 16 team playoff options would be nice.
Is there also a chance, to have unlimited teams in a division? I like to setup a league with ALL 30 teams in one league and one division and allow the top 8 or 16 get into the playoffs.
BTW, don't forget to allow us to turn off the graphics in one pitch, play by play mode. The pitching and batting graphics are getting old and I prefer to just have results.
I don't pretend to know the process of how to write the programs to do the different things being requested, Clay, so your hard work is appreciated. I think the ability to expand the divisions and basically make the league look pretty much anyway one wants is by far the biggest request but like I said how much work it takes to add a 4th division or specify the number of wildcard teams is beyond me.
And LQ, you're so cute, but not very smart obviously... since being able to redo the divisions wouldn't mean much to my online league unless of course I was going to redo the whole thing, I was just echoing the ideas thrown out by others that made sense compared to the ridiculous requests to change colors or make one minor little improvement that only 1 person has asked about because as I said to ME you'd think people would be getting together and asking for 'real' changes that actually made the game better and not wasting time - their own or Clays - by ranting and raving about idiotic little things that make no difference to anybody but themselves.
Personally I'd like to see a trade page implemented but it's very low on the priority list because it's really only for those that run online leagues but that's something that would benefit me.... having the flexibility of redoing the league anyway you wanted including adding a 4th division is a huge change and one desperately needed.
I'm all for the custom division/playoff thing. The thing I don't understand is why you are trying to summarily dismiss requests people make. People ask for things that are important to them, because WE DON'T KNOW what other people want. I'm pretty sure people in general are able to chime in when they see a suggestion they like and I'm also certain Clay knows how to prioritize the requests and pick the ones best for Mogul.
Actually what I said was I'd like to see some sort of voting system put in place where people could vote on what's important. The idea of just filling a request thread with 10000 requests and another 1000 followups from people I'm certain is overwhelming to Clay.... especially when - being honest - most of them are just dumb and unimportant compared to the overall need to make some other changes to this game. I'm going to imagine that MOST people can tell the difference, which is why I'd like Clay to concentrate on those things rather then be inundated with requests of a more personal and frankly ridiculous manner.
