I would like to see McClouth in (LF?) Heyward in RF (that where he is on our depth chart) and Cameron in CF (not sure if they would get him as looking for power)

Laroche for a 2 year 15 million deal at 1B?
Delgado 1 year 4-5 million?

I like the Delgado move with a 4 year base and 2-3 mill in incentives... with the chance at 7 mill he might take it.

The question is what to do with Diaz? he is not a RF (defenseivly) so we cant put him there. We need either a CF or a RF or get rid of him. Can they package him and Johnson somewhere to get anything?

I think trade low and honestly try and sign Vazquez to a 2 year extention... then... in 2 years with 1 year left trade him He was good in Mon, Arizona he was good, Last hear in Atl was good... i think NY was just too much for him

Me neither... I think he jsut got a bad rap from NY... I mean he isnt the #1 I think that people expected (if they even extected that) but man... I would take him on my team in an INSTANT... oh wait he IS on my team lol

He WAS a #1 starter this year. His problem has always been that he's underperformed his peripherals greatly. This year, he lived up to them.

Were the Braves that hard-up to unload salary? I mean, I know they think they have 5 starters (Lowe, Hanson, Jurjenns, Hudson, Kamikaze or whatever), but is assuming 5 is enough ever a good reason to let go of a guy performing as well as Vasquez has? I thought he was pretty much their ace the last season (143 ERA+).

I'm not sure about this - seems suspect, since Boone Logan just came to the Braves with Vasquez last year...are we just recycling year-old trade details?
