Talking Breaking news...Jim Bowden is an idiot

I don't know if anyone else caught this, but the brilliant mind of Jim Bowden has struck yet again. Over at MLBTR (last bullet point) he has lent his genius counsel to the Yankees absolutely free, saying they should beat the Red Sox to the punch and get Roy Halladay for Joba Chamberlain, Brett Gardner, and Ian Kennedy.

Um, just one problem Jimmy baby. Where's Philip Hughes? Where's Miguel Montero? GM AA has already stated multiple times that the Jays are far more interested in quality than quantity for Halladay and he may be new, but he's not dumb. Now, something like Hughes, Montero, and Gardner might do it but getting Gardner just wouldn't be worth it for us because Cito would either stick him in LF with Wells in CF, and Travis Snyder in RF or stick him on the bench as the designated PR, with Snyder in LF and Jose Bautista in RF. Sigh! Cito, smart like tree.

But Jimmy boy, better get that resume ready. The winter meetings are just five days away. Teams will be beating down the door for your services. K, thanks bye.

I seriously cannot wait until this is over, so that douchey suggestions like this will go away. Ugh!

There is only one possible explanation...the dumb has spread to you simply by your mentioning the name of a certain ex-GM (whose name I will not speak to hopefully avoid the same fate).

He's working for free? He wouldn't even sign 18 year old foreign players to bonuses for free!
