    Interesting idea, that has obviously been around for a while (see comments on the StatsMonkey page linked to in the article), but has never been sufficiently polished. As a developer myself, I am always interested in whether mundane stats can be parsed into an interesting and informative sports recap by use of an algorithm. I think that the algorithm in Baseball Mogul that does the news stories has a ways to go, but this article shows that even those who spend most of their time working on it cannot get it completely right.

    Thanks Mets...very thought-provoking article - I'm going to hijack your post, and plonk it in the Dynasty section...Boy! I wish that I could write descriptions of games like that monkey!
