    A Turkey and a 20

No, that's not my bowling score. Well, the 20 maybe.

Clay and I are doing the annual http://www.Foodshare.org turkey drive so that people in CT who don't have turkeys for thanksgiving can...well, have turkeys. Foodshare ships 15 tons of food a day to local food pantries, and only covers two counties in CT. Demand for foodshare services is going up even more thanks to the tanking economy.

So, if you have some spare change, or are local and have a spare (FROZEN) turkey - no live ones - I asked - feel free to join Team Anstarra or support us.

Would it help if I tossed in a free copy of Baseball Mogul 2009 on CD-ROM with each donation? We got a few left over...

Sort of on topic..ok, not really....but..I just cooked too much food and it doesn't taste good when you re-heat it later, so now I feel obligated to eat it as to not waste it.

Well, the thing to remember is your health. As a weightwatcher myself, it was the hardest thing ever to learn to toss food. If it's going to make you sick to eat it, there's no harm in letting it go.

Actually, anything we have that doesn't have avocado, walnuts, chocolate, coffee, onions or garlic we end up feeding to the dog to supplement her kibble. I hate letting stuff go to waste too. When I had chickens, we could get rid of almost every unwanted scrap! But, then the coyotes had KFC...and, well...there ya go.
