What I find “amusing” right now is that nobody (Liberal) believes that “Trickle Down Economics” WORK.

But think that passing a TRILLION (plus) dollar stimulus bill does not “Trickle UP”.

Well, I am here to tell … it does and THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE MONEY.

I am now more than half way to my second million dollars. This is just too easy anymore.

I'm trying to imagine being under $2mil net worth and considering yourself as the "up" destination in something trickling up. I'm 40 now and worth more than I thought possible, which is fantastic, really came far from humble beginnings...but the people referred to as rich? The people that benefit from policy that is passed? They could lose my life's earnings and not bat an eye.

The people really running things are in the top 1%, and really the top tenth of that. You're barely top 6.5%. The kind of wealth that is the problem here - people that can pull strings, benefit from policy, invent a senate candidate, etc - they are not relying on an index fund for their wealth.

Most things that do trickle up, like the terrible tax breaks passed by the last administration, will be invisible to you. They will trickle up to the top 1%, and bypass you without you ever knowing.

Recently, I saw a German war movie called "Stalingrad". It's from 1993 and follows a German platoon in the battle of Stalingrad. The Wehrmacht committed horrific war crimes, mass atrocities, etc. All the terrible things done by the German forces should be portrayed with as much accuracy as possible because the subject matter is so important. I don't feel like this movie did that. Also, all German soldiers did after all fight for Nazi Germany and its disgusting ideology.

Actually I should have explained that my assets are Liquid Assets (not counting Real Estate (house), Cars, Gold, Silver, Bitcoin or Business and other useless items). In other words pure liquid Stocks of the S&P 500. These companies have the very best Tax accountants and Lawyers money can buy (that have been and are working for me). So as you can see for yourself the fund SWPPX is up 29% this year alone, I have now an additional $290,000+. This is more money that I could ever spend without flat out Wasting It on Junk. I give it to my children as momma says, "Charity begins at Home".

My 8th grade life plan of saving $2000 a year at 10% worked!! Granted 10% was a bit too high to expect. I retired twice (at 45 for 4 years) then at 62. Once I hit the $500,000 amount, I never saved any more of my salary. I just let the $500,000 grow on its own.

Point is ... anyone could have done it. But so many just prefer living paycheck to paycheck, hit 65 and have nothing to show for a lifetime of work. Crazy planning!!

I think people today need to plan on saving at least $4000 and probably more like $6000 a year (you have to account for inflation).

I know the topic of gun control is a contentious issue, but I back the second amendment and the right to self-defense.

I saw a documentary about the Israeli–Palestinian conflict recently. I support the state of Israel, and I hope a peaceful solution can be found. I realize that is asking a lot.

I'm an atheist personally, but I don't like to see anyone being mistreated, or discriminated against, based on their religious affiliation. I want an inclusive society for everyone.

I have seen several documentaries about the Soviet Union under communist rule lately. It was an awful society to live in to say the least.

Hearing about other people's comeback stories after struggles in life can be inspiring to some people. I know they are to me.
