    Re: So...

    PLEASE!

i get on here after a 16 hour break, and i come back, and maybe 20 percent of the stuff being posted isn't nonsense.

the kiddies are overly posting too much crap...too many ridiculous threads that have no meaning whatsoever....or there is a thread i was enjoying, and then it has been hijacked and moved 3 pages by one line comments back and forth about nothing.

please, i fully support and vote for bingle and HGM to be mods...even just limited mod power.

It's not like you need them to be banning people, just controlling the content on the forum.

Agreed! Last night was brutal Jeffy. Around 7 or 8 PM last night everything hit the crapper. I was talking on a thread and then all of a sudden it got closed off and then a million similar threads got started, and then kid fights broke out. It was crazy man. I don't think there could be any more fair mods than those two.

    Re: So...

it just makes it so unenjoyable for the rest of us.

I come here to get away from petty crap like that....why would i go on the internet to look for drama?

There is enough in real life to try to dodge, i don't need to see it in places that i want to enjoy myself and talk baseball.

I don't mind a few things from out in left field. i don't mind ejections, it's just whenever everything gets hijacked, yami, ftb and mg all get into this pissing matches over absolutely nothing!

I just want it limited, i know ftb and mg can be good posters, but when you let them run free it can clog everything and keeps this forum from being entertaining.

Agreed. I too just enjoy talking all that good stuff in sports, and yami especially bugged the crap out of me yesterday and I just gave up and left.

i should say, mg, has shown it in the past that he can be constructive to a conversation, which is very rare, since he doesn't care to be constructive.

which is why i want mods. if you get rid of the retardedness, they will either be constructive, or won't come around.

Agreed. What really gets me is the retardedness in the sports forum. That's what really bugs me.

    Oh, agreed.

Though, at least for me, the other day I took a good look around at the general mayhem, and just decided "Meep it."

So now I try to ignore it, and if I can't then I see if I can meep with the meepheads. It probably just encourages them, but since trying to remain aloof didn't do much for my sanity, I might as well have some fun with the tawdry little meeps.

    Re: So...

You know there is 3 pages of recommendations for mods, and yet nothing is done. So what makes us think anything is going to change by complaining more?

There is solutions to this problem without mods, and I found it with the link etothep provided you with yesterday Jeffy (though I installed the app long before), I hate to say it, if youre afraid to install it, then its a you problem and you are going to have to deal with it.

Im sorry I sound mean about it, but I find it annoying about the complaining of these idiots when there are tools at your own disposal to make the forums fun.

So right now, I really dont care what the kids try to do, if I dont like it, its as simple as a right click.

    Re: So...

I use firefox and explorer both, but i don't want to put any new add on's on my work computer, for obvious reasons. I try to keep it limited. I just wonder why not do a simple mod situation so it can be peaceful. Surely Clay and Dee don't enjoy coming to the forum and seeing 15 million pointless threads. When you select new posts...tell me, what percentage of those threads has any bearing whatsoever to the world, baseball mogul, or baseball?
