That is a pretty cool bridge/tunnel. I did not realize they had one like that there. What do they use on the other side of the island?

edit: never mind, I found it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Belt_Bridge

I'm not so good at updating this thread. I really do exercise more than it appears.

30 minutes of lap swimming today.

I hate swimming...but it is just about the best exercise there is

    Svømmehall idag. 35 minuter

I wasn't very efficient. The two tattooed blond lesbians in the legebana caused a rudder effect in my boxerne.

    New Jogging route again.

34 minutes round trip. A little out of shape. I don't know how long this route will last. The CO to O2 ratio is a little higher than I like.

Moved the route to Central Park today, because that's trendier-and I'm all about being trendy, and around the Jackie O Reservoir. It's supposed to be a 1.58 mile track. I planned on two laps but the south east side was very icy, so I only did a lap and a half then meandered around in the park a bit. Decent Run. Pretty nice view

Another new route. NYC is not so good for jogging between all the blizzards and smog

Today...the West side of Central Park in just about 30 minutes flat.

I'm going to look into getting a phone with GPS because this site is awesome

    http://www.endomondo.com/

This is one of my friends' jogs in København. It shows the route that was run as well as the speed and altitude changes. Awesome!

30:28 for the Central Park West route

Hopefully the weather is gonna cooperate and give me less excuses for not running

    Bikram yoga today.

Bikram is the sweatiest, best excercise that I've come across. It's extreme yoga. 26 poses done in a 95-100 degree humidified room. The heat keeps your muscles warm and allows you to intensify your stretch. The extra heat also causes your blood vessels to expand. This makes the heart work harder to pump the blood giving you a cardio workout as well. My body never feels better, and my life never goes better than when I am practicing yoga consistently.

Central Park West jog in 28:12. I've got to get back on top of this now that things are a bit more settled down.

    Central Park West: 28:30

    I was tired today.

Went on the Fort Tryon Park Fitness Walk yesterday morning, that was a surprisingly decent workout. Then in the afternoon I went to Riverbank Park and did some interval laps around the track, jump roping, sit-ups/push-ups, and various other jumping exercises.

    I'm taking tomorrow off

    1 mile warm-up run
    a few minutes of stretching
6 sprints on the straight away of a quarter mile track while walking the curves
Circuit: jump rope, stair hops, pushups and sit ups
    Stretch to cool down

    Whew! Good workout.
