    Fili's kilometer and kilogram thread

Inspired by a few other posters (wishing you the best), I'm gonna keep track of my jogging and weight.

    JGWB Route
    Code:
    2/19 34 minutes
    Jackie O Reservoir Route
    Code:
    6/23 30:03
    Central Park West Route
    Code:
    3/1 30:54
    3/25 30:28
    4/30 29:34
    5/5 28:12
    5/11 27:58
    5/16 28:30
    5/20 27:45
    5/26 26:45
    6/2 25:58 N
    6/7 25:06 S
    6/16 25:22 S
    6/28 24:56 S
    7/6 30:56 N
    7/13 28:21
This is (roughly) the route that I'm going to try and jog a few times a week before it gets too cold, at least.

The idea is to try and jog it faster than I did the previous time. Always improving.

As for the weight, it is more just to keep track. I got a little chubby living in DC April-July as my roommate was a chef. Hard to eat right when you wake up to Blueberry pancakes in the morning, and come home to grilled hamburgers and sausage at night. Then I spend three weeks in New Mexico eating burritos.

I could stand to redistribute a few pounds from fat to muscle. But, without a gym to go to, that's gonna be tough.

After my jog I go out onto the boardwalk and do some push-ups, there's also a place along the beach to do some pull ups. So, that'll help some

What is your diet going to consist of as well (aside from not eating blueberry pancakes, hamburgers, and sausage)? How do you normally eat?

    Ideal:
Smoothie in the morning before the jog

Whole oats with raisins and fresh strawberries and blue berries

Eggs and Bacon one day on the weekend

Pack a lunch for school with a sandwich, apple and banana

Salad 3-5 days a week for dinner; some pasta or rice with meat and vegetables the other nights. Maybe go out once.

Yoghurt with fresh fruit for snacks/desert.

Snacks are my problem...I'll eat a whole damn loaf of bred with jelly in a day if I'm not careful

Oof...I hear you on the snacking, fili. I tend to eat pretty well at meal times, but the snacking goes WAY overboard some times. It's especially bad when I have insomnia, I'm awake in the middle of the night, and I'm bored.

Det ser ut som du klarer deg ganske bra, Filihok. Stå på videre, så kommer du deg nok under 20 minutter snart.

    Joined a gym today...very excited.

I really miss going to the gym.

I only get 30ish (40 to share with the GF) visits between tomorrow and November 20th, but that's better than nothing.

    87 Kilo today, That's -1

21:56 today. Slower than last time...

Instead of my usual Sprint/Recovery method, I ran a pretty even pace today, just 31 seconds too slow. Oh well...

Might hit up the gym tomorrow

    22:15 today.

Recovering from a tight hammy from getting to excited doing squats at the gym the other day. Feel good to actually use the muscles from time to time.
