    Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports that the Diamondbacks have made a new offer to seventh round pick Matt Helm, but it will only be the table for another two hours. Piecoro notes that Helm said he was looking for third round money last month.

    How much do these guys get in signing bonuses??? Like not 1st round guys but like 5th and 6th rounds.

    4th round slot money is between 300,000 and 200,000 and 5th round is 200,000 to 155,000 and so on. This year it looks like more and more teams are going over slot to get their picks to sign.

    Yeah usually you are talking like 300K, it's rare for a mill.

    Tigers 6th round pick, Dan Fields, could get in the neighborhood of 2 million if he signs, but he's one of those guys that fell because of his strong commitment to Michigan.

    i asked the question earlier...but how is the bonus money usually paid out? over time?
