Only a handful of 1st rounders have signed. If no more of them do, it looks incredibly bad on the sport and especially on the money-grubbing agents

    Tampa Bay...

According to Marc Lancaster of the St. Petersburg Times, the Rays "do not expect to sign" first-round pick LeVon Washington.
Washington was selected 30th overall in this year's draft. The two sides have engaged in heavy negotiations, but it appears neither is willing to budge. The Rays have until midnight to strike a deal with the speedy outfielder.

    Oh the Yankees..

Yankees agreed to terms with first-round pick OF Slade Heathcott.
Heathcott was selected 29th overall in June's first-year player draft. The 18-year-old right fielder received a bonus of $2.2 million, over $1 million more than MLB's reccomendation for his draft slot.

From looking around it seems that the Rockies mood is that they won't sign Maztek

(And you guys misspelled 'Baseball' for the tag of this thread)

Most of the remaining guys WILL sign.

Also, the players have the final say, not the agents.

question: are these bonus's pro rated throughout a few years? or paid up front? I would assume they are paid over time generally.

From what I am reading I am putting Maztek's chance of not signing at 85%
