Because if FanGraphs was a woman, it would just show graph after graph somehow proving that you are wrong and it/she is right.

Buerhle's indicated that he'd likely retire once his current contract is up and that even if he doesn't, there's no way he's playing til he's 40.

Buehrle also said he was going to retire after the Sox won in '05. He's only mentioned retirement a few times, and that was in an interview joking around with a few reporters. The whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. Even if he is serious about retiring, do you honestly see him turning down 15mil a year from the Sox, just to retire a few years early. I highly doubt it.
