But we could either resign him, or get 2 more top picks. Chances r, we would keep him, moz would never do it, I doubt I would either, but I would consider

Rockies pursuing Freddy Sanchez.
Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb.
Clint Barmes and Sanchez have similar OPS' and XBH and the one thing the Rockies don't need is another bat. Barmes has been decent this season batting near .300 and while Sanchez would be sort of an upgrade the Pirates like Eric Young, Jr. who has been running wild in the minors. It'd be a lot to give up for similar production.
No thanks.
what do you do though when the Blue Jays say they want Rasmus in any deal?
I for one think someone should overpay for Halladay though, specifically in the NL. There are a ton of teams he'd make instantly a contender. In the AL...i really don't see either the Sawx or the Yanks going for him. Maybe Texas? I think if he goes anywhere its to the NL.
I'd love to see Halladay in the NL. He'd carve it up more than Sabathia did last year.
I see him going to the NL for the mere reason Riccardi never wants to see him.
In the division is out of the question no matter the depth of the Sox and Yanks farm system. I also think the Sox and Yanks are happy with their rotations.
Phillies are big contenders...but to be honest, I don't see it happening...
i honestly don't see him being traded....and i also believe Wallace, Rasmus, Pujols, Molina, and Wainer are our untoucables...but for a player like Halladay, maybe one of those, not multiple players, but maybe one of those could be removed.....i would think Wallace would be the easist to aquire, maybe wainwright
I don't think you really have the right to say any prospect and just about any major leaguer is untouchable when you're dealing for the best pitcher in baseball.
