the red sox should trade charlie zink and david ortiz away to the yankees for mark teixeira and joba chamberlain. The yankees get cheaper players who are just as good and since david ortiz really kills them, they don't have to worry about choking against the sox. It solves their 0-8 crisis. If we can't acquire Teixeira then we can go to the brewers and reds. The brewers get Charlie Zink and Felix Doubront for J.J Hardy, and Ortiz along with Rocco Baldelli go to the Reds for J. Votto and Homer Bailey.

You mean the M's aren't gonna trade Carlos Silva and Yuniesky Betancourt to the Mets for Johan Santana? Its gonna save the Mets so much money to have Silva's contract instead of Santana's and Betancourt can be the starting shortstop until Reyes gets back. We could always add Bryan LaHair and Chris Shelton to sweeten the pot a bit. They can play first until Delgado comes back.

The Rockies should trade Clint Barmes to Boston for Dustin Pedroia. The Rockies get a decent second bagger with a good bat and the Red Sox free up salary space for Holliday in the coming free agent season. Plus, Barmes has been on fire lately so that will increase his trade value.

Alright guys, we all know that the Red Sox have two sucky shortstops, right? However, they're still the best in the American League, right? Well, the solution to that is trading for Hanley Ramirez. We send Mike Lowell, Julio Lugo, Penny, Ortiz, and Van Every to them for Dan Uggla and Hanley Ramirez. Uggla can play DH instead of Ortiz and we get Hanley who's the best SS in the majors. It's a good deal. We get rid of our sucky players and get their best, because our worst are still better than their best.

Why would the Marlins send us Ramirez and Uggla for a few overpaid guys and a middle-aged prospect? You realize that makes no sense, right?
