I love the stupid, moronic trade offers that "homers" come up with. It's like... if you're so eager to get rid of a bunch of crap players for another team's best starter/hitter, why will they be so eager to acquire them? I always think about that when I make trades in Baseball Mogul.

The best/fairest trades will "hurt" both sides somewhat in giving up players of value.

Actually, I wouldn't trade Clete Thomas and Adam Everett for Ryan Theriot.

I was recently told that the Nats would give up Adam Dunn for Nate Robertson, Wilkin Ramirez, and Casey Fien. When I asked why they would trade one of the top hitters in baseball for 2 average prospects they don't need and an albatross pitcher, he told me that they really really needed the 3 mil in salary relief over 2 years.
