Massive Attack's album Protection, which was their last collaboration with Tricky. 'Tis much more minimal than their later masterpiece Mezzanine, but I find that this leads for an even more offsetting atmosphere. The song "Karmacoma" easily takes the cake as being the highlight. I'm probably going to revisit that one right away once the record finishes.

I wasn't a fan of Lightning Bolt. Of course, I haven't really been into Pearl Jam for years (or even grunge, really), but I found it to be one of their weakest releases. You're absolutely right, AOW, this one's got the piano and ballads, but in my opinion these only make Pearl Jam seem even less interesting. Ballads simply don't captivate me.
