I like the What-If scenario here...it is a neat idea to use BBM to see what would have happened if certain rumoured trades actually happened. Good work.

Yeah, I've always wondered what would happen if we got Arod. its pretty funny to think but we would be in love with him and the yankee fans would think he's such a douche

Can I start an A-Roid Chant now?

I was hoping to find out how you convinced Texas to make the deal.

Didn't have to convince Texas, they were all in for it. It was the MLBPA that prevented Arod from restructuring his contract. I'll explain how though

    May, Year 1

    1. This game was included in the stats . Pedro goes the distance and gives up just 1 run and Magglio Ordonez hits his 8th home run of the season. Red Sox 9, Orioles 1

    2. Curt Schilling goes 7 innings without giving up a run before giving up 4 in the eigth before Timlin took over. But, the Red Sox offense allowed plenty of room for error as Curt Schilling improves to 3-1. Red Sox 11, Orioles 4

    3. Tim Wakefield pitches well through 7, giving up just 1 run. But, Wake lost it in the eighth before being pulled, this time the offense couldn't win for the Sox. Orioles 4, Red Sox 2

    4. Derek Lowe couldn't control the D-Rays offense and Damian Moss goes 8 without giving up a run for the D-Rays. D-Rays 5, Red Sox 1

    5. Bronson Arroyo goes 8 shutout innings as the Red Sox cruise to a win. Red Sox 5, D-Rays 1

    6. Pedro Martinez gets destroyed and Vernon Wells hits a home run for the Blue Jays. Ted Lilly was able to silence a powerful Boston lineup. Blue Jays 5, Red Sox 2

    7. Only 2 players were hitless, both teams' third basemen as a total of 18 runs were scored. A-Rod hit his 10th homer of the season and Vernon Wells hit 2 for the Blue Jays. Blue Jays 11, Red Sox 7

    9. Derek Lowe didn't have a great game but managed to have the lead when he was taken out. But Alan Embree blows the lead and the Red Sox fall to the O's. Orioles 6, Red Sox 5

    10. Kevin Millar hits a home run for the Sox but its not enough to match the O's offensive output. Orioles 7, Red Sox 4

    12. Pedro goes 7.1 innings, allowing just 1 run as Big Papi blasts 2 home runs to get the win in Tampa. Red Sox 6, D-Rays 1

    14. Tim Wakefield pitches a solid game and gets help with a Millar home run. Keith Foulke gets his 8th save. Red Sox 6, White Sox 3

    15. Derek Lowe pitched 7 solid innings and the Red Sox get home runs from David Ortiz and A-Rod as the 3-4-5 of A-Rod, Maggs, and Big Papi has been wreaking havoc on teams all season. Red Sox 6, White Sox 2

    16. Bronson Arroyo pitches a complete game, giving up just 1 run on an Aaron Rowand home run. Trot Nixon was big, driving in 4 runs in the win. Red Sox 6, White Sox 1

    17. Pedro pitched 7 innings, giving up 1 earned run before getting tossed for plunking Nomar in the head. It started a bench clearing brawl, and Kevin Millar has been suspended for 4 days. A-Rod and Magglio Ordonez hit homers in this one. Red Sox 9, White Sox 2

    18. Schilling pitched 8.2 innings of shutout baseball before giving up a run. Brian Daubach hit a solo shot in place of the suspended Millar. The Sox also got homers from Ortiz and 2 from A-Rod. Red Sox 5, Angels 1

    20. Despite home runs by Ortiz and Daubach, the Red Sox lose because of a powerful attack by the Angels offense. Vlad and Ortiz both hit their 12th homers of the season. Angels 10, Red Sox 6
