POLL: What thread should complaining about announcers go in

So, I (just me-filihok) am getting fed up with reading 'announcer A is such a piece of becummed pubic hair, he said that Johnny Dickwads career batting average is .314 when it is in actuality .315. What a douchbag' posts every 15 seconds in the MLB Talk thread.

I think that type of post (is getting old) is more appropriately placed in the Stupid Announcers thread. What do you think?

    Is this really necessary?

Let me just say that this thread really disappoints me. Seriously.
I just lost a lot of respect that I did have for you.

    I'll survive

I don't see what is so horrible about gathering statistical data to say that 'X% of those who replied to the poll think that announcer bashing should be in the announcer bashing thread'.

This "announcer" thread you mentioned had 2 posts on it and was last posted on a month ago before you necroed it today...to complain about people not posting on it...when I'm sure a good amount of people hadn't even read it let alone REMEMBERED it...it being a month old and all.

So should there be no new threads at all about baseball, since there's already an MLB Talk thread?

IMO, that MLB Talk thread should be closed regardless. But, that's me...

Yea, I know... and I wasn't really sure why he did, either. And then he created a new one.

I think there were inappropriate posts in another topic and he closed the wrong one (MLB Talk), at least from when we were talking about it awhile back, so instead of unlocking it he just created a new thread (note the "no pubes" reference from that thread where RSR and defense were going back and forth).

So... you bump a month old thread up to tell the people who aren't posting in it that you don't like what they're not posting in there.

Then, you post an unnecessary poll about topics you find unnecessary.

    Sure, why not?

Re: POLL: What thread should complaining about announcers go in

From what I remember, there was some stupid argument that was being carried on at the end of the original MLB Talk thread.

Anyway, I just don't understand the whole concept behind that thread. The whole forum is for "MLB Talk"...
