K-Rod is arguably a top 5 reliever, and Reyes is the 2nd best shortstop in the game, and only Rollins has an argument.

I was more or less annoyed that he makes that sort of comment toward Jaker, and then I see that he has like 5 Met players on his list...not that they don't all deserve some level of recognition, but it clearly wins over a player on another team's list just because they are Mets ball players....don't knock someone else's picks unprovoked

metsguy didn't knock on DarthJaker's picks. He changed Darth Jaker's picks in the quotes and knocked on the changed stupid picks. Darth Jaker invites it upon himself, though, by letting metsguy and RSR tell him stupid lies and believing them, and responding to metsguy's silliness with "dude ur a fu(king retard".

If I were to make a second team though ( for fun )

    C - Martin
    1B - Howard
    2B - Uggla
    3B - A-Roid
    SS - Rollins
    OF - Ludwick
    OF - Braun
    OF - Hamilton

    Bench
C - Yadier (this is not a homer pick, I really believe he is a top five catcher)
    Corner infield - Cabrera
    Middle Infield - Reyes
    Outfield - Dunn
    Outfield - Quentin

    Rotation
    Grienke (hard to ignore)
    Sabathia
    Oswalt
    Hamels
    Kershaw
    Harden
    Haren
    Papelbon
    Broxton
    Capps

There are several other ball players I wish I could have added, like Soto, Soriano, Pedroia, Lowe, Crawford, Martinez, Roberts, Hudson, Ellsbury, Granderson, Longoria, etc etc etc

Re: Best Hypothetical Team w/ Current Players

    25 Man Roster:

    C: Brian McCann
    1B: Albert Pujols
    2B: Dustin Pedroia
    3B: David Wright
    SS: Hanley Ramirez
    LF: Ryan Braun
    CF: Grady Sizemore
    RF: Ichiro Suzuki
    1B/DH: Miguel Cabrera

    Reserves:
    C: Russell Martin
    IF: Jose Reyes
    IF: Kevin Youkilis
    2B: Chase Utley
    OF: Carlos Beltran
    OF: Nick Markakis

    SP: Johan Santana
    SP: Tim Lincecum
    SP: C.C. Sabathia
    SP: Roy Halladay
    SP: Jake Peavy

    CL: Mariano Rivera
    SU/CL: Jonathan Papelbon
    RP: Brian Fuentes
    RP: Francisco Rodriguez

Fuentes is the best left-handed reliever available IMO. I wouldn't have a lefty in my bullpen otherwise.

Ichiro gives me a true lead-off.

I'm trying to get the best mix of lefties and righties on this roster.

Forgot about Berkman! crap! I really like him too. Cabrera I got on there, and yes, I think Howard has more value over Teixeira to this point....but I don't think it will stay that way. Cabrera....i am iffy on it...Howard over tex and cabby.....Berkman, I don't know, I kind of dropped the ball on him and forgot about him.

And on Ramirez, yes, I still believe he is one of the best in the game at hitting, pure and simple.

How? Howard doesn't have an edge on any of them offensively, maybe roughly even, and he's the worst defender of the bunch. Cabrera's no good defensively either. Berkman and Tex are both excellent.

Yes, and he's performed as such, which was my point.
