Thought it would nice to have one thread that we can post our fantasy deals/ trade offers and let others comment on them.

In my case, another manager who says he needs starters, offered me this trade.

I get:
Shane Victorino
Zake Duke
Jim Thome

He gets:
Roy Halladay
Joe Saunders

Um... no thanks.

I countered with the following:

I get:
Grady Sizemore

He gets:
Cole Hamels

Yeah, I know, but I had to try. Then, he counters with this.

I get:
Nick Markakis
Jim Thome
Brett Myers

He gets:
Roy Halladay
Jonathan Papelbon

Better, but still too much IMO, as I need neither Myers nor Thome, so, I now have countered with the following.

I get
Nick Markakis
John Lackey (DL)

He gets
Jonathan Papelbon
Joe Saunders

My SP includes Hamels, Halladay, Bedard, J. Sanchez, and Saunders. My BP includes Nathan, Papelbon, M. Gonzalez, and Zeigler.

Would it be worth doing Halladay plus for Markakis plus? I don't think so, but I think too much in terms of overall value rather than fantasy value sometimes, so it's hard to tell.

Michael Young

He gets:
Roy Halladay
Nick Swisher

Id take it but it may b a little 1 sided in your favor because of Swisher. McCann gives stats it catcher you dont usualy get so it is a BIG boost. Young is versatle (I think he is SS and 3B right?) Halladay wont get you many wins I dont think but the k's and ERA will be VERY helpfull. Halladay is good with a guy like pettite IMO because they balance each other out. the low ERA with Halladay coupled with the probably 17+ wins of pettite along with good k's for both make a good team.

I saw that. GREAT trade IMO because I think delgado is due for a letdown trade him high

Plus being on the mets I WANT him to fail lol
