You might wanna keep an eye on the Rays/Yankees game.
Backstory:
Last night, the Rays destroyed the Yankees 15-5 or something. The Yankees used Nick Swisher to pitch the last inning. (lol, he was the only Yankee not to give up a run). Anyway, he struck out Gabe Kapler, and he was basically laughing it up on the mound. (which is par for Swisher, he's just a fun loving guy). After striking out Kapler, he rolled the ball into the dugout to keep (as his first, and likely only, MLB strikeout).
So, shitstorm ensues. Talk radio gets involved. Etc.
Tonight, in Swisher's first AB, Garza runs a 93 MPH fastball right at his chin.
Swisher bailed, and nodded, and got back into the batter's box.
Two pitches later, Swisher sent one about 400 feet into the right center field bleachers.
Camera goes to Garza, and he is LIVID.
Hmmmm, Swisher's gonna have at least two more AB's tonight.
Might be worth watching if you've got MLB Extra Innings or MLB.TV.
Stay tuned.
