Citi Field, I just got back from there

The only negatives were that it's a navigational nightmare for some seats, and some of the fans are dicks (some people booed during the moment of silence for Harry Kalas)

I saw that there was a bridge behind the pen in right field. Seems kinda cool to have a bridge. Whats below it?

IIRC there's nothing below it.... the area with the old HR apple from Shea Stadium is like behind it and down.

I am Yankee fan. Thank you very much. If your team cant compete in the majors, cry and call your mommy, but dont blame the Yanks. Look at the money, look at the rings, and look at the team. Remember one thing also, the Yankees were the 3rd team in NY at one time behind the Dodgers and Giants. When they ran west for the money, the Yankees stayed to become one of most successful franchises ever. As for the Mets, I hate them, but do respect em.

As for stadiums, the Yankees didn't build a stadium just to make more money. That stadium was old and had many structural problems. When you pack the house in a stadium for almost 70 years, the stadium starts to wear out. Just ask Boston and Cubs fans. Boston really needs a new stadium and probably soon. As for Shea, that thing was a slap together piece of **** for an expansion team. When the bathrooms flood with piss in the seventh inning, it might be time for a new stadium.

Anyway, thanks Metsguy for the update on Citifield. I am going there in May and new Yankee stadium during the opening series.

He's right. If your team can't compete, the problem isn't the Yankees. It's your team.

It isnt arrogance. Why is a team evil if it is successful?

Ive never complained that the fact the Yankees buy everyone and my team has a modest payroll, I just find it sort of smug that Yankee fans assume that everyone complains about what they spend. I actually cheer for it, because how many titles have they won since their payroll hovers around 200 mil or so? None.
