    SEE ! ! !

See how bad this friggin Nats team is????

You mention these Washington Nationals and the very next post mentions the worst team in the history of baseball.

Pretty bad when your current team brings up the worst team in the history of baseball into the discussion.

If you want to have a decent reliever on your team then go for it.

The Sox better not blow it. Went from 6-1 to 6-5....

Today's Royals-Twins game has been a great example of what happens when you don't order Tom Emanski's videos.

Top of the 10th inning, 7-7 tie, Royals batting with runners on 1st and 2nd two outs. Tony Pena Jr. due up, you have Mike Jacobs and Mark Teahen on your bench, and you have two players currently in the game who have played SS before.

Trey Hillman let's Tony Pena Jr. hit.

    That's unacceptably stupid.

Are you 100% absolutely, unequivocally sure they were available for tonight's game? In other words were they given the day off and he wasn't going to use them no matter what? That is the only explanation that would let him off the hook in this case. Not everyone who's not in the lineup is available. He does have to plan for all 162, while we all watch and agonize over every little move. One of his jobs is to make sure everybody stays fresh even if the fans want to kill him for not making such an obvious substitution. Or maybe they both had nagging, day to day type injuries that he didn't want to make worse. I know it's Trey (I love Kyle Farnsworth) Hillman but there might be a reason that we as fans are not privy to.

Teahen entered the game the next inning. I am 100% sure.

EDIT: And Jacobs was just on the bench b/c a LHP started....I'm pretty sure he's not injured either.
