    That's not very scientific

    How does that even work?

First 3 things, and the bases are loaded. Single again, one run in and the bases loaded...walk = 2 runs...

    Am i Missing something?

Newsflash, Zack Greinke is embarrassing the opponents right now. 43 consecutive innings without an earned run. Back to back complete games. Tigers had no chance.
My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.

Wow, ESPN's box scores are REALLY slow today...I was just looking at the box score and it said it was the bottom of the 8th with 1 out.

I suppose now would be a bad time to ask if you're interested in trading him?

I didn't see tonight's game, but yesterday Gil Meche threw another good game. Bullpen let him down though. That KC pitching staff is looking like the real deal to me.

The top 2 were a given to be "the real deal" (Meche and Greinke), and Davies is starting to prove that his hot September represented a breakout, and that gives them a top 3 that can compete with anybody in the league.

The back of the rotation though? Well...let's pretend that doesn't exist .

Well, HoRam has already been replaced by Bannister, and Hochevar will replace Ponson in early May (when he stays down long enough for the Royals to control him for another year). Banny and Hochevar are okay as 4/5, a lot better than Ponson and HoRam.

1-2-3 are very good as you say, 4-5 of Hoch and Banny is respectable for a back end of the rotation.
