Cardinals bullpen is yet again, becoming the death of us....our big problem last year, our big problem this year....thus far.

we have had good bullpens in the past, and I know it's easy to blame the bullpen, but it really is our big issue

Jose Veras threw 3 innings, giving up only 1 run, but still has an ERA of 8.53
Damaso Marte threw 1 inning and gave up 1 run, and his ERA is 21.00

I know the season is early, and Wang is coming off an injury, but how can you have such a bad pitching staff?

Wang's injury was a hurt leg so I'm not sure if you can blame it all on his injury. Sure, he uses it in his mechanics and gets power from it, but there wasn't any lingering damage so you have to wonder if it really is his leg or something else.

Zack Greinke, dating back to last season, is working on his 32nd consecutive scoreless inning.

He also just threw a 61 mph curveball.

Greinke is embarrassing the American League right now.

    My god.

33 consecutive scoreless innings. Ties the franchise record (if they allow it to be carried over from last season).

lol, I just saw the Yankees score and wow did they get humiliated. I know it's only one game, but it doesn't look like that money is working. Giving up 22 runs in one game is something no team should ever do, especially one with a payroll like the Yankees.

CG shutout for Greinke against a great offense in Texas at their park. Ends it with his 10th K on 111 pitches, going from 61 mph slow curves to 94 mph heat on the last pitch, with everything in between. 34 consecutive scoreless innings. Franchise record.

Somebody might want to start remembering this kid's name.
