Is Carlos Silva going to prove that FIP was correct last year? Is he really going to fall back to a 4 ERA?!

    I hope so.

Royals in 1st place. We're going almost wire to wire!!!!!!!
My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.

    WOW,

    Baltimore, Kansas City, Seattle.

    AL's three division leaders.

Wonder how many had THAT combo in their preseason pool.

Probably about the same number that had Florida, St. Louis, and San Diego in the NL, I'm thinking.

What does it mean when you're talking to yourself on a baseball forum at midnight of a weeknight?

    I really need a life.

You could invent some characters like Rongar does and have a whole party. Let's hear it for the Loudoun County Loudmouths!

Before last season, Holliday reportedly declined a four-year, $82 million extension from Colorado.

Does anybody think he'll see close to that this fall once he shows that his numbers were inflated (at least somewhat) by Coors Field? I wonder what Holliday (and Boras) were thinking.

Depends...if there are only 1 or 2 other big bats out there, it increases the odds he gets more money as the teams looking for offense have fewer players to bid for.
