And how can you not be happy for him? He's probably the most liked player in MLB due to his infectious, non-stop chatter and banter. Perhaps the umpires that don't like being touched by players don't like him too much. One game I noticed that here, he kept patting the ump on the butt when he went up to the plate and always smiling and chatting with the catcher and the ump. Yeah, that was his second homer today. I missed the first as I had to run to store, but I can tell you the second was a pretty site. He nailed it.
Gotta say, I'm hoping Fred Lewis gets me some fantasy points in the ninth. I needs em. Everytime I play Lastings Milledge, I regret it. I would release him, but then right after I did that he'd go on a 58 game hitting streak that breaks Joe's record, hitting 42 homers with 129 RBI's, and stealing 102 bases.
mmmm, maybe I should release him then. Maybe then the Nats might, oh I dunno, do something really amazing like WIN ONE FREAKEN GAME.
