I just know I used to watch him all through the 80's, him and Steve Stone (after Stonee retired). Back then the superstations (WGN, TBS, and a Mets one that I can't recall) were the only daily games other than the local teams (Orioles for me, when I was in country, which wasn't always a lot back then).

He used to say "Holy Cow" a lot. Trust me. I didn't even know about Phil Rizzuto, cause I've not heard him much.

Guess I should've picked a better example.

A common misconception about wikipedia is that no one checks. If it's a major enough issue, it's pretty well checked by the wiki staff and the entire internet.

I use it on reports of my own, although I generally just go to wikipedia and use the resources at the bottom rather than the actual site.
