I LOVED that avatar. Plus, I TOTALLY LOVED THE UNIS last night. (Gotta admit, I didn't see tonight's game). But I swear those uniforms reminded me of the Twins of the 60's. If this is their new uni's (Back to the Future, or whatever), then I love em. They brought back memories. Plus, the Nats new unis tugged at my heart.

They got blasted both nights (now, if you want to really get down after two games, trust me, nobody beats the Nats), but those uni's with the cursive "Washington" accross the front were awesome. In previous years, the Nats wore a boring gray and black "Nationals" road uni. This one is much better. (LOL, sorry to mix the two, but Washington and the Twins DO have history you know )

But, I just liked your avatar. I think I commented on that once already.

I think they are wearing them for around 24 home games this year. And yes, almost anything with cursive lettering is great.

EDIT: And the unis are from the '82 season, since that was the first year in the Dome and this is the last...

Yeah, I think the "Twins" accross the front was close to the 60's, but I think the 60's (or at least early 60's IIRC) they had pinstripes too, which last night's didn't have. Still cool unis though.

Sort of like the Mets. The cursive "Mets" unis are the best, but if you ever noticed the older Mets unis with the pinstripes AND the double stripe down the pant leg, those were just awesome. I think those were probably 70's or 80's though, not 60's. Can't really remember the 60's Mets since they were NL and I mostly followed/saw AL back then.
