2009 Felony of the Year so far

Although some of these happened last year, they are hitting the courts this year. I may have missed a few so please hit other. The Nominees are:

Jim Leyritz - Although his vehicular homicide charge happened in 2007, he was ordered back to jail in Feb 09 for drinking and violation.

Dante Stallworth - March 14, 2009. Vehicular homicide.

Plaxico Burress - Shot himself in November 2008. Demanded his $1 million team penalty back and was cut this week. Bloomberg wants at least 1 year in jail. Looking to become a real wide receiver in 2009.

Adam Jones - What can I say? A felony every other month.

Michael Vick - Coming out of prison, he is fighting federal tax evasion charges by declaring bankruptcy. Case pending for May 2009.

Cam Newton - Florida Gators backup QB on felony theft.

Jamal Anderson - Ex-RB Atlanta Falcons. Cocaine.

Corie Blount - NBA center for the Los Angeles Lakers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Philadelphia 76ers and Toronto Raptors. Busted with 20 lbs. of pot.

Still got 8 months left to go. Making over a million a year, minus Newton, I couldnt think of a better place to spend it then prison.

Not only is Vick declaring bankruptcy, but he tried (and failed) to do so while insisting he NEEDED 2 houses and 4 cars.

And while Plaxico was mulling over the fact that he could go to jail for 3 years and was being cut from the Giants, he decided he was super important again.
