I have 09 and now about every other time I start the game I get a message saying 10 is available and I have two choices. Go to the BBM website and buy it or remind me later. Guess which one I chooseDoes anyone know how I can disable this? Thanks

O.K. I found that and unchecked the box. Still being spammed. So I went ahead and clicked on the tell me more after connecting to the net. Went to the website hoping now that I've been there the message would quit. That didn't work either. There has to be some way to turn this thing off !!!

Ehh...it's definitely not a "best practice" in the software development world. A one time advertisement, sure, but a repeated reminder for a new version of a game you've already purchased is frankly annoying.
I saw Andre Dawson. And let me tell you something. There were only two players in my lifetime whose teammates held them in awe. One was Mickey Mantle. The other was Andre Dawson. If you were around, if you saw them play, you know that. But the numbers don't tell you that.

I agree it's a rather annoying method of drumming up sales of the new version, but I also agree that it isn't THAT big of a deal.

I agree with you 100%.
It's not like you're playing a demo for free.
You purchased the game. It's yours. And getting spammed everytime you open up a game that you purchased isn't right.
Having said that, there must be some way to stop it. (Other than buying BM2010. LOL I even said that once as a joke too, but it stopped being a joke after you tried everything everyone told you to try and you're still getting spammed).
PM me to let me know how this turns out. Because I'm interested to if in fact there is no way to stop it. This just is not right.
