Agreed. My top 3 would be

    1. Hamilton
    2. Quentin
    3. not sure, not Pedroia though

Pedroia won the MVP because he was a media-friendly scrappy little hitter and you all know it.

Really? Well, here's what you voted:

    1. Josh Hamilton
    2. Dustin Pedroia
    3. Justin Morneau
    4. Alex Rodriguez
    5. Cliff Lee
    6. Milton Bradley
    7. Francisco Rodriguez
    8. Kevin Youkilis
    9. Joe Mauer
    10. Evan Longoria

Perhaps that's why the writers voted for him, but in this case, the media-friendly scrappy little hitter also happened to be one of the most valuable (position) players in the league. I'd put Sizemore and Mauer above him (and Lee and Halladay), but it's incredibly close and arguments can be made for multiple players.

I'll tell you that there's absolutely no fricken' way to tell you who the MVP was based off just that information you provided.

    LOLOLOLOL.

Dice-K wasn't even the most valuable pitcher on his own team, let alone the most valuable player of his own team.
