Same problem as with the ratings of every player in the game in the original post - the ratings become severely concentrated toward the high end. The increase of players with high ratings also leads to there being a glut of talent on the free agent market come April 1. There was one player rated 95 still a free agent, about 10 more with a rating higher than 85, and about 20 with a rating between 80-84.
