MLB Hall of Famer, iconic broadcaster dies

Be more concerned with your character than your reputation, because your character is what you really are, while your reputation is merely what others think you are .

A real shame. He was inducted along with Brooks Robinson, in a crowd full of Oriole fans, and I felt a bit sorry for him, because here it was, his big day, and he was surrounded by people who weren't really there to see him. But he was so pleasant and gracious and well-spoken that you couldn't help but like him.
