I was not talking about location. I'll try to reword it.

Ricky Romero was given one rotation spot after giving up just 2 runs in 7 innings yesturday. Richmond or Mills are now both vying for the last spot.

    #4/#5: Romero/Richmond/Mills

And if a couple of these guys get hurt, what then? This is the American League East people. This is not some kind of patsy, pansy division. Real teams play here, really good ones...Happy place...Happy place...Finding my happy place...Nope, not f***n working (In my best attempt at a Lewis Black voice).

This is the first season in quite a while that I haven't been pumped up for...at all and I'm just hoping before too long somebody will realize that the Emperor (or in this case the GM) has no clothes and tie a can to him, so that the real work can begin, hopefully with a GM that's more than content to coast along on auto-pilot, but that has actually demonstrated some GM acumen at the big league level before. Please (we've actually never had one before). Pat Gillick was great in his rookie attempt and the other two...well let's not go there...now where was that happy place?...

I 100% agree. I've been stubbornly optomistic for years, but this year I think we're going to have to grind it out to finish 4th.

Scotty Downs could start the season as the closer.

Here's a funny by rotowire. Sadly, its also true.

Kevin Millar went 0-for-4 and struck out twice Monday in a loss to the Yankees.

Millar is on a minor league deal, but the Jays obviously decided to carry him before the spring even started. Jason Lane's demotion, even though he was hitting .358/.375/.736, made that clear. Millar is at .189/.279/.432, but the Jays figure he'll be useful in keeping the team loose when Ricky Romero is getting shelled by the Yankees and B.J. Ryan is failing to sneak 84-mph fastballs past Dustin Pedroia. Cowboy Up!

All of this and Purcey's now #2 with Litsch #3 And Romero at #4. Apparently it's a RLRL kind of thing with the rotation. Cowboy Up and 84 MPH fastballs, but that Millar he'll bring the team together with that special "chemistry glue" he carries in his back pocket and brings to every team he plays for. Is this another example of JP's "Wilkerson" syndrome. Fall in love with a player who was good 2-3 years ago and has obviously already played his best baseball.
