    He has one of the strongest arms I have ever seen, but he doesnt have the mental fortitude to get the job done. He needs to grow up and realize the NFL is a business.

    As much I as like and respect Jake Delhomme (one of the best leaders in the game), I must say that I would love to get a franchise QB here in Carolina.

    For this year, anyway...then they'll drop his ridiculous contract. That's the issue with Redding...he's insanely overpaid.

    We actually saved money as Peterson's contract was bigger. We also got a pick which can be used in the defensive rotation.

    Peterson actually produces, though...certainly at a level higher than Redding.

    Anyway, it's all a moot point...the reason the teams swapped was so they can each dump the guy they got after the year and clear out a massive contract.
