I have never before seen a 'pitching staff by team' system...that's actually kinda neat.

You got Hanley, Tex AND Beltran? Were your co-drafters a 3rd Grade Special Needs class?

Pretty good. I'd probably start Bradley over Hunter, actually, since he's probably a solid bet to put up some nice numbers (before the inevitable injury). Your relief pitching stats could be sick with the Mets and White Sox.

Looks like MLB Open, they use the team system. I don't care for it, and Open is less in depth. However, you CAN win money in it, and I nearly did a few years ago

It's a good team but as already mentioned who were you drafting against and how deep is the league? If the league is only like 6 teams deep then this team, while still impressive, loses some of its 'shine'.

12 team league with a live draft. Most of the GM's weren't there but still a great team.

And yes it is the MLB Open so hopefully I win some money.

Teixeira, Beltran, and Hanley should all be first/second round picks in standard 12 team drafts...how the hell did you manage to nab all 3?

    Re: Rate MY fantasy team

While pondering that, here's my most recent team. This is a casual league, with male and female players, including my sister and daughter; there are nine teams drafting from all available players, and we redraft every year. There are 15 position players, 10 pitchers, and 5 (non-counted) bench. So the stakes aren't too high, nor are the hurdles...

    C: Geovany Soto, Chris Snyder
    1B: Mark Teixeira
    2B: Chase Utley
    SS: Jose Reyes
    3B: Ryan Zimmerman
    CI: Carlos Guillen
    MI: J.J. Hardy
OF: Carl Crawford, Manny Ramirez, Magglio Ordonez, Jermaine Dye, Ryan Ludwick
    UT: Justin Upton, Pat Burrell

SP: Scott Kazmir, Felix Hernandez, Matt Cain, Edinson Volquez, Jeremy Guthrie
    P: Hiroki Kuroda, Jair Jurrjens
RP: Jonathan Papelbon, B.J. Ryan, Kerry Wood

Bench: Travis Snyder, Hong-Chih Kuo, Fausto Carmona, Troy Glaus, Pedro Feliciano

    That team's offense is off-the-charts.

Thank you! Yeah, like I said, it's a casual, no-pressure, fun league; we had people making homer picks, just drafting players they liked. One guy used the Mitchell Report and Canseco's book as his draft strategy. So there was a lot of talent lying around - I was astonished at how low Maggie Ordonez slid, Ludwick went even further down, and I nearly snapped up Matt Holliday instead of Manny.

The pitching is a bit more chancy, but it's serviceable, barring any major injuries. Wins will be a difficult category - I'm going to need one of the quartet of King Felix-Volquez-Guthrie-Cain to really have a big season and reel off 17 wins...or all of them to end up with 12-14 wins and a combined WHIP that isn't over 1.3. That's not impossible, but it's a challenge.

OH, by the way, I would try and trade Yuniesky Betancourt or at the very least keep an eye on Ronny Cedeno. I highly doubt Betancourt starts out the season as the starter and if he does I doubt he keeps it very long.
