    bingo!!!!

i was thinking the same thing. should another name be released, I wonder if all these who are "sick of it" are going to ignore the reporting of it entirely as much as they ignored the AROD situation lol.

Being sick of something doesn't mean you should ignore it, that you should deny its being there completely. Those that said they are sick of it (myself included who never started an A-Rod thread...for the record) have the right to acknowledge it, but your right...don't make it a bonanza if your sick of it.

Or maybe the A-Rod situation....made them sick of it?

Who knows. I just think its kind of harsh to say that them not ignoring something that is going on in their world is being interested in it.

But you know, its nice to see new stuff come out there, but what does it accomplish really? Im tired of it just based on the fact i want to move on with it and whatever happens in baseball happens. I love the numbers and I am saddened that the steroids ruined it, but I am willing to move on and not hold players accountable in the future.

I think the point was that there were a dozen a-rod threads

true, but being sick of something doesn't mean you're not interested by it either. I"m get sick to my stomach with many news stories, but am interested in knowing the finality and whats happening.

If the list of 144 names comes out, most of those claiming they were sick of it and wished it were over would be clamering over the news stories and discussing it adnauseum. So maybe the poll is flawed.....because whether they like it or not, most in here I believe are VERY interested in new information related to it.
    What'd you vote for?
I voted honestly, that I am still interested in it.

I guess it depends on how the question and the answers are framed. The question and the answers in the poll can be a bit confusing and/or misleading. You're right in that being sick of something doesn't mean that you're not interested in it. You can be both sick of it and interested in it, so, if that's the case, as I suspect it is with many, which option do you vote in the poll?

I answered honestly - I'm sick of hearing about it and wish it was over. That's how I "feel about steroids in baseball", which is what the poll question asks. That doesn't mean that I don't wish to discuss any new information that comes out, though.

Where's the option for counldn't care less? I'm not sick of it, just don't really care. Everybody's doing it, so somebody else getting caught isn't really news, nor is it a big deal to me.

I lean toward this as well. I really don't care if they took steroids, are taking them now, or plan to take them in the future. Not one tiny bit.
