The All-Steroids Team: A Look at a Team of All-Juiced Players

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...juiced-players

    I found this allegation interesting:

    "First base

    Starter: Albert Pujols

Wow. First base is stacked. A home run derby between these guys all in their prime would be nuts. The nod has to go to Albert Pujols though. I know it pains many to hear good ole Al was on the juice, but its starting to appear that way. I felt betrayed when I heard the news just because I routinely draft the guy in fantasy baseball.

Although I know it has neither been confirmed or denied I felt Al deserved a spot on the team.

Albert has won two of the last four NL MVP awards with numbers that were just off the charts. In 2005 he hit 41 HRs, had a .330 average, added 117 RBI, and 16 stolen bases (which was tops for all first basemen in 2005).

Pujols has been an All-Star in seven of his eight seasons and has won four Silver Sluggers, and one Gold Glove. He was also named Rookie of the Year in 2001 and the 2004 NLCS MVP."

Based on....?? I mean don't get me wrong. I'm not one of those 'absolutly believe someone is innocent until irrefutably proven guilty guys'....I'll throw McGwire under the bus in a second, but Pujols? Based on what?

He felt betrayed when he "heard the news"? What news? Oh, that fake lie of a "report" that the news "reported" before the Mitchell Report was released?

"Nomar Garciaparra is one of the bigger question marks when it comes to steroid use. When I began the research for this article I would see his name listed on some steroid lists while not on others." - What "steroid lists" is he on? I guess by "research" this guy means "made **** up off the top of my head."

What a joke. This is why being "published" on Bleacher Report is meaningless. Any fool can get any nonsense posted there.

But ... this obviously is just his way to foward an agenda.

This is the first part of a three-piece story. It examines what an All-Star team made entirely of players who have been named as steroid users, have admitted to steroid use, or been highly suspected of steroid use would look like.

The next part will examine those players who have not been implicated in any steroid allegations and the final part will examine which All-Star team has the advantage.
Seeing how conspiracy theorists link everyone who does well to steroids.

I like how in the comments section the author says he might include Pujols on the clean team.

    Uh.

Interesting. Im just waiting for the February '10 speech of the next Yankee who cries and says what a bad boy he has been. 07- Giambi. 08 - Pettitte. 09- Rodriguez. 10 - Jeter? I dont trust any of these overpaid asses any more.

"Nomar Garciaparra is one of the bigger question marks when it comes to steroid use. When I began the research for this article I would see his name listed on some steroid lists while not on others."
this one is retarded. I dont remember what year, but Nomar was still with the Sox and on his way with ARoid and Jeter as a HOF track SS. Then he went on SNL 5 months after the season was over. It was the first installment of the Jimmy Falen Nomaaah skit. Nomar rips off his shirt and looked like a pro body builder, just months after having a normal physique. I remember thinking right then that that boy was on roids. 100% and a career ruiner for him.

Guess so. Gehrig too. He put up some Pujols like numbers himself. I mean I guess it was also the juice that caused the ALS, since it causes everything else.

Too bad. I had previously annointed Gehrig to be beyond reproach.

Let it be known now, if you have or have had a great season you are on steroids. So if your a major league player and you feel like your on pace for an outstanding season...turn it down a notch. We don't want no allegations coming in.

My runs created per 27 posts (RC/27p) was 12.4 last year. I should've been MVP.
