I have to say, I was really impressed with Rivers this year. Had he put up numbers like that previously, he never would have shut up..."Look how awesome I am!" He really does seem to have grown up. Now hopefully Cutler follows in his footsteps. I like the way the kid plays, but right now he needs nothing more than a good hard backhand across the face.
They fought thru alot of injuries too, you can't ignore that.

Detroit does take a cap hit absorbing the rest of Redding's guaranteed money, but in terms of talent they win this deal. Redding had one decent year in his contract year and Millen made him the (then) highest paid defensive tackle in the league. Peterson's been an all star player numerous times (and a deserving one).
And with the releases of Torry Holt and Orlando Pace, the Rams are officially realizing it's time to rebuild.
