truth be told;

being from CT, I followed Orlovsky in college (UCONN) and was surprised he made an NFL squad. Very surprised in fact. Then to see him starting was amazing. He's very little talent. Him leaving makes little sense to me. He wouldn't have had a start anywhere else in the league. His wanting to leave simply means he knows he can't start in this league and wants to earn backup coin and not embarrass himself. That in itself is embarrassing, and has me questioning his heart.

If the guy can't beat out Culpepper for a starting job in detroit of all places, where in this league is he going to find a starting job lmfao. Truth is, he doesn't want to start.

Of course he's not going to start anywhere no matter what he says. He just wants to be on a better team that might actually do something of note in this decade. I'd leave to if I were him. If all else fails he could always stay with DET assuming the offer would still be on the table.

OF COURSE the guy wants to start...EVERY pro athlete WANTS to start. He also quite likely realizes it ain't gonna happen. He REALLY wants to flee the disaster zone known as the Detroit Lions, though...as any thinking human being would no doubt do.

It odd that he would think he has a better chance to start anywhere else. Detroit offers him his best chance to start. Culpepper as a starter is questionable, no other team (except maybe if the Bengals suffer another injury to Palmer) would be qualify as a number two QB.
