It's cool that you're actually reading the book. Most people love to talk about stuff that comes out in books without actually reading them. I was talking about this same thing not long ago with a friend of mine the other day, regarding Torre and his book, while we were watching MLB Network and he was being interviewed.

It was a player... i was lostening to an interview today (GOD I wish I remembered who) in WFAN and they guy said he new who it was and he also said a few others confirmed it.

I'm assuming that most of the replies here are being made in just, because it seems obvious that the leak almost certainly had to come from either someone in the Justice Department, the testing lab(s) or the MLPA.
