All I can say is, "after further review..." the Steelers won. In other words, just like they've been doing all year. No one knows they've won it unless you have someone review it. Just like their phantom "review" touchdown against the Ravens, right?

Let's hear it for the Steelers: the technical champions of the NFL!

    (Oh, no, I'm not bitter.)

I agree, either way they earned their 6th championship...We can argue each point countless times, and complain about the officiating (which was too involved IMO) but they won, regardless of what anyone else says or wants.

I think their rings should have the image of a referee under a hood. Can we get that encrusted with diamonds?

    Re: Superbowl

I was baffled my the Cardinals offense all game long. I was sitting with my buddies wondering why they didn't try to shake something up, maybe go no huddle, in the 2nd quarter. They finally do and roll down the field...and then go away from it again? It was the one time the Steelers defense really looked out of sorts...yeah, let's stop doing that.

Were there a lot of penalties? Yes. However, aside from that one questionable roughing the passer call, they were ALL 'earned'. Note to Arizona...Mike Gandy is awful. He has ALWAYS been awful. He will ALWAYS be awful. Maybe get a decent left tackle.

Honestly, the one thing about the Cardinals that pissed me off they blew coverages up and down on that final drive. I was very disappointed in the defensive backs on that final drive.

Mike Gandy sucks freaking ass. Someone cut him...please.

Fact is, Cards had plenty of opportunities to win and didn't take advantage of mistakes. NFL champions excel when mistakes are made, and they never did.

How amazing was Larry Fitzgerald though?

He could be one of the best in history...

He always said, "I play for the big games." and he did just that.

    Larry is a BEAST.

The interesting thing (for me, anyway) to do now is look at the two teams and figure out where they might be next year. After last year's game,. both the Pats and Giants looked like strong possibilities to be pretty good again this year. Now, looking ahead from that year's game, Pittsburgh's in a nice position. No massive free agents, and they'll actually get to use Rashard Mendenhall at running back next year, so they can focus their offseason on beefing up their lines. Arizona on the other hand...their running back situation is a mess, Warner's a free agent, the secondary still needs work and the offensive line needs work. If I'm the Cards, I'm picking up the phone and seeing what Anquan Boldin's worth. Sure he'd be nice to keep...problem is, with the money he's going to demand they probably can't get both a left tackle upgrade AND a running back upgrade.

Even though it was in a losing effort, what Kurt Warner did should put him into Canton. I seldom see anyone shred that D like he did. Its unfortunate his D let him down.

Ya know what? say what ya want but Big Ben, and Holmes are both class act professional athletes. Really handle themselves with class which is always good to see out of a pro athlete that wins it.

On a side note: I take it you have all seen about Phelp's lil indiscretion.

So did you guys see this commercial, or did it only air here in sweden?

Rest of the commercials looked like they sucked.

This one made me laugh though...

And, was that last play a fumble? Was it not close enough to review? I had to watch it on a grainy youtube, but it sure didn't look obvious to me
